Ibinasura ng House Justice Committee ang impeachment complaint laban kina Chief Justice Teresita De Castro at anim (6) na iba pang Supreme Court (SC) justices.
Sa botong 1-23, idineklarang insufficient in substance ang reklamong isinampa laban Kina De Castro, associate justices Diosdado Peralta, Lucas Bersamin, Andres Reyes Junior, Francis Jardeleza, Noel Tijam at Alexander Gesmundo.
Nagkaisa ang mga miyembro ng komite na ginagawa lamang ng mga mahistrado ang kanilang mandato na dinggin ang quo warranto petition na inihain laban kay dating Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
Una nang tinukoy nina Albay Rep. Edcel Lagman, Ifugao Rep. Teddy Baguilat at Magdalo Party-list Gary Alejano sa kanilang reklamo na nagkaroon ng culpable violation of the constitution at betrayal of public trust ang mahistrado dahil sa pagpabor sa quo warranto case para mapatalsik si Sereno.
