Ang panunumpa ni Arroyo sa tungkulin sa sesyon ng kamara ay pinangasiwaan ni House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.
Samantala, bukod kay Arroyo nahalal din bilang Deputy Speaker sina Davao City Representative Isidro Ungab, Antipolo City Representative Robbie Puno, Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) Representative Raymund Mendoza, Ilocos Sur Representative Kristine Singson-Meehan, Batangas Representative Ralph Recto, Pampanga Representative Aurelio Gonzales Jr. at Cebu Representative Vincent Frasco.
