Inanunsiyo ng Ayala Corporation ang pagkakabuo ng Ayala Center for Excellence in Sports (ACES) na naglalayong suportahan ang mga atletang Pilipino.
“The Ayala Group has long seen the impact that sports can have on many facets of its businesses. In fact a number of our senior executives have represented the country on national teams in different sports, including Ayala Land’s Chris Macasaet in men’s volleyball and AC Energy’s Jaime Urquijo in rugby,” ani program director Jan Bengzon.
“We believe strongly that Filipinos deserve better access to world-class sports facilities across the country and will continue to work to find ways to support the next generation of Filipino athlete to achieve their full potential,” dagdag ni Bengzon.
Ilan sa mga pangunahing programa ng Ayala Center for Excellence in Sports ay ang redevelopment ng Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub sa Imus, Cavite upang maging world-class training center para sa national athletes. Isasagawa ito katuwang ang Ayala Land. Maliban dito, ilulunsad din ng ACES ang Atletang Ayala program na magbibigay ng suporta at oportunidad sa national athletes na nais makalahok sa paparating na 2024 Olympics.
Inaasahang ipapatupad ang mga programang ito ngayong 1st quarter ng 2022.
