Bumuo ng task force ang Department of Health o DOH para pangasiwaan ang monitoring at pagtulong sa mga batang nabakunahan ng Dengvaxia.
Ayon kay Health Secretary Francisco Duque, ang task force ay bubuuin ng mga opisyal mula sa central office ng DOH at sa sangay ng ahensya sa mga apektadong rehiyon tulad ng Regions 3, 4A at Cebu province.
Bahagi ng task force aniya ang pagkuha ng tatlumpung (30) surveillance officers na ilalagay sa mga ospital sa mga apektadong rehiyon at s’yang magmo – monitor sa kalagayan ng mga batang nabakunahan sa susunod na limang taon.
This task force rather will conduct a thorough review of the dengue vaccination initiative.
We, the DOH, reiterate our commitment to hyphens surveillance and monitoring activities on all 800,000 students vaccinated with dengvaxia.
We will be deploying them immediately for active surveillance and data collection in these hospitals. Surveillance will be done for five (5) years.
Ayon kay Duque, magkakaroon din ng sariling legal team ang task force na s’yang mag – aaral sa pananagutan ng Sanofi, ang manufacturer ng Dengvaxia vaccine.
Tiniyak ni Duque na kakasuhan nila ang Sanofi at igigiit ang refund sa mahigit tatlong bilyong pisong ibinayad ng pamahalaan sa Dengvaxia.
Maliban dito, ipasasagot din aniya nila sa Sanofi ang mga gastos sa pagpapagamot sa mga magkakasakit na batang nabakunahan kahit pa may commitment na ang Philhealth na sagutin ang gastos sa pagpapagamot ng mga bata.
