Shortlist ng papalit kay SC Assoc. Justice Bienvenido Reyes inilabas na ng JBC

Nakatakda nang isumite kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang inilabas na shortlist ng JBC o Judicial and Bar Council.

Ito’y para pagpilian ni Pangulo ang hahalili kay Supreme Court Associate Justice Bienvenido Reyes na magreretiro sa Hulyo 6 alinsunod sa mandatory retirement age na 70 taong gulang.

Pitong pangalan ang nakapaloob sa nasabing listahan na kinabibilangan ni Court of Appeals Presiding Justice Andres Reyes Jr. na nakakuha ng pitong boto.

Tig-anim na boto naman ang nakuha nila Court of Appeals Associate Justices Rosmari Carandang at Jose Reyes Jr habang tig-limang boto ang nakuha nila Court of Appeals Associate Justices Japar Dimaampao at Apolinario Bruselas Jr.

Pasok din sa nasabing listahan sina C.A. Associate Justice Amy Lazaro – Javier at Centro Escolar University School of Law Vice Dean Rita Linda Ventura – Jimeno.
