Several departing passengers at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 (NAIA-T3) were left behind by their plane due to long queue at the immigration departure area
One of the passenger Jessie Maloles who was interviewed over the phone said they were early at the airport for their 4:15 wednesday January 11 flight to kota kinabalu “mga ala una naka check in na kami pero naiwan pa rin kami ng eroplano dahil sa haba ng pila sa immigration, naki usap na nga po kami para pasingitin pero pag dating po namin sa gate wala na yung eroplano” Maloles said
Maloles a business woman is travelling with four other business partners when they were caught up with the horrendous queue at Naia T3 immigration area, nagulat po kami sobra dami ng tao at marami po kami naiwanan ng eroplano sa ibat ibang airline at iba ibang destinasyon” Maloles said
As of writing Manila International Airport Authorities (MIAA) are checking with different airlines the exact number of left behind passengers due to long queue at the immigration area
Dana Sandoval Immigration Spokesperson in a phone interview said that their work force and immigration are all complete but due to big volume of departing passengers the little space at Naia T3 creates a clogged scenario
Sandoval said she will check with the port operations division as to what happen at NAIA T3 that resulted for the passengers to be left behind
Passenger Maloles and companions are finding ways to rebook with other available flights so as not to disrupt their business transactions at Kota Kinabalu . - sa ulat mula kay Raoul Esperas (Patrol 45).
