Nagpahayag ng kahandaan ang ilang opisyal ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) na magpaturok ng bakuna kontra coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Sa isang virtual press conference, sinabi nina CBCP President Archbishop Romulo Valles at CBCP Vice President Bishop Pablo David na nakahanda silang magpabakuna sa harap ng publiko para kahit papaano’y mabigyang kumpyansa ang mga ito na magpaturok ng bakuna.
Inihalimbawa pa rito ni Valles ang hakbang nina Pope Francis at Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI na nagpabakuna sa publiko para mawala ang agam-agam ng publiko.

Kaugnay nito, sinabi ni Valles na bukas siyang tumanggap ng anumang brand ng COVID-19 vaccine kung ito’y urgent o kinakailangan na.
