Oscar Awards na ginaganap ngayon sa Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, California, United States.
Ang sikat na TV host na si Jimmy Kimmel pa rin ang host ng prestihiyosong awards show ngayong taon.
Naging makasaysayan naman ang Oscars Awards ngayong taon dahil napili si Daniela Vega bilang isang presenter kung saan siya ang kauna-unahang transgender na mag-present ng Academy Awards.

Nasungkit ni Sam Rockwell ang kanyang kauna-unahang Oscar award bilang best supporting actor sa kanyang pagganap bilang racist police officer sa dark comedy film na Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
Wagi naman bilang best supporting actress si Allison Janney para sa kanyang pagganap sa pelikulang I, Tonya.
Tinanggap naman ng MVP at five time NBA champion na si Kobe Bryant ang best animated short film para sa kanilang pelikulang Dear Basketball.
Nanalo naman bilang best animated feature ang “Coco”, best production design ang The Shape of Water, best documentary feature ang Icarus at best foreign language film ang A Fantastic Woman.
