“Hindi ako na-surprise!”
Hindi na ikinagulat ng House Prosecution Panel ang hindi pag-cross-examination o pagtatanong ng defense team sa impeachment trial laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte kaugnay sa Article 1 ng Articles of Impeachment na may kaugnayan sa misuse of confidential funds o maling paggamit ng pondo ng Office of the Vice President o OVP at Department of Education o DepEd.
Sa gitna ito ng presentasyon ng mga ebidensya ng prosecution team na pinangunahan ni Prosecutor Joel Chua at ang testimonya ng dalawang witness stand na sina Violeta Constantino, ang dating branch manager ng LandBank of the Philippines-Shaw Blvd. Branch, at Nenita Camposano, ang dating manager ng LandBank of the Philippines-DepEd Branch.
Sa pulong balitaan sa Senado, sinabi ni House Lead Prosecutor at Batangas Rep. Gerville Luistro na “Hindi siya na-surprise” dahil ang mga naging testimonya ng dalawang witness ay “completely documented.”
Matatandaang sa naging pagdinig ng House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability, kung saan si Chua ang chairman ng komite, natuklasan ang milyun-milyong pisong halaga ng transaksyon sa LandBank of the Philippines ng OVP at DepEd. | via Geli Mendez (Patrol 30)
