Kumpiyansa si Senate President Franklin Drilon na maaaprubahan na nila sa third at final reading ang proposed 2016 national budget, bukas.
Ito, ayon kay Drilon ay dahil halos kalahati na ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno ang nakalusot sa plenary.
Pagkatapos aniya nilang aprubahan sa Huwebes ang budget ay agad isusunod ang bicameral conference hearing dahil target nilang matapos ang bicam at maaprubahan ang report sa una o ikalawang linggo ng Disyembre.
Kabilang sa mga aprubado na sa plenaryo ay ang budget ng Office of the President, Vice President, Judiciary, Departments of Foreign Affairs, Public Works and Highways; Environment and Natural Resources, Social Welfare and Development, Commission on Audit, Presidential Management Staff, Civil Service Commission at ilan pang ahensya ng gobyerno.
