Our recommendation has been submitted to the Secretary of National Defense and the Secretary after studying it, has forwarded the recommendation to Malacañang.
The recommendation, I don’t have the details of as to the length, as far I am concerned, there is a recommendation to similarly support the recommendation of Philippine National Police (PNP) but I am not really to the whole report and I’m not liberty to discuss whatever it is that has been placed to the recommendation
The Maute, the ASG (Abu Sayyaf Group), and the other terrorist organizations, they still remain to be a threat although they have significantly degraded in terms of capability and manpower.
Those who survives still remain at large and are attempting to recover by recruiting other members of the society.
Now, in other areas of Mindanao following the declaration of the President of the formal end of peace talks with the CPP – NPA – NDF, also increasing violence initiated by the left is something to watch – out for and something that we have to prepare for and confront.
All – out war sa NPA pinabulaanan
Itinanggi ng Armed Forces of the Philippines na nagdeklara sila ng all – out war laban sa rebeldeng grupong New People’s Army o NPA.
Wala tayong pinag – uusapang all – out pa dito, but based on my understanding, ang ginawang hakbang ng mahal na Pangulo ay nagsimula ng isang proseso.
So, itong proseso ay ngayo’y sinusunod natin at sana matapos ito kaagad.
So, that is what we have statistics. Now, as we have ended formal peace talks and as we pursue them, we expect the similar tactics or methodologist that the left has been using.
