Malungkot at dismayado ang dating Rappler researcher na si Reynaldo Santos Jr. sa hatol ng Manila Regional Trial Court sa cyber libel case nila ni Rappler CEO Maria Ressa.
Ayon kay Santos, naging responsable naman siya sa pagganap ng kanyang trabaho nang isulat niya ang artikulo tungkol sa complainant na si Wilfredo Keng.
Si Keng at Ressa ay hinatulang guilty sa cyber libel at hinatulong makulong ng anim na buwan hanggang anim na taon.
I can’t actually describe it, a lot of thoughts are coming in my mind now; sad, disappointed. For someone whose doing his job to be here, I think it could not just me but other people who are doing his or her job properly could be in the same situation that I am in right now,” ani Santos.
