Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines confirmed that all passengers and crew of Korean Airlines Flight KE631 that overshoots Mactan Cebu International Airport late Sunday evening October 23, 2022 are all safe.
Eric Apolonio, Spokeperson of CAAP said that KE631, an Airbus 333 commercial flight from Incheon to Cebu was carrying 162 passengers and 11 flight crew.
Ground personnel of Korean Airlines and Cebu rescue personnel are attending to all persons on board the flight.
Apolonio added that affected flights due to closure of Mactan Cebu International Airport are PAL 1869, Manila – Mactan returned to Manila, AirAsia flight Z2 9047, Seoul – Cebu was also diverted to Manila, Jin air flight JNA025 from Seoul to Cebu was diverted Clark Airport, RPC 7290 Clark to Mactan diverted to Manila. | Story by Raoul Esperas (Patrol 45)
