Nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang ilang kautusang magbibigay ng service recognition incentive (SRI) at gratuity pay para sa mga empleyado ng pamahalaan sa fiscal year 2023.
Sa bisa ng Administrative Order (AO) 12, mapagkakalooban ng one-time SRI na nagkakahalaga ng Php 20,000 ang government employees sa executive branch.
Kabilang sa mga mabibigyan ng nasabing incentive ang mga nagtratrabaho sa national government agencies; military personnel ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP); at uniformed personnel ng Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), at National Mapping and Resource Information Authority ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
Samantala, sa bisa ng AO 13, mabibigyan naman ng one-time gratuity pay na hindi hihigit sa Php 5,000 ang mga empleyado ng gobyerno sa ilalim ng contract of service (COS) at job order (JO) schemes.
Inaasahang ibibigay ang SRI at gratuity pay sa lahat ng mga kwalipikadong empleyado nang hindi mas maaga sa December 15.
