Ito’y para personal na pasalamatan si Chinese president Xi Jinping sa ipinadala nitong COVID-19 vaccines bilang donasyon sa Pilipinas.
Kasama ang iba pang opisyal tulad nina Health Secretary Francisco Duque at vaccine czar Carlito Galvez, personal na ininspeksiyon ng Pangulo ang crates ng mga bakuna na agad na dinala sa Department of Health storage facility sa lungsod ng Marikina.
Sa kanyang talumpati, pinasalamatan ni Duterte ang China at si Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian sa donasyong bakuna.
