Ipinatupad ng Hainan Lingshui Li’an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone ang “Large-Shared Campus + Small Colleges” model, kung saan isinusulong ang reforms gaya ng mutual learning sa pagitan ng China at foreign institutions, integration of arts and sciences, interdisciplinary studies, cross-selection of courses, mutual recognition of credits, at collaborative management.
Layunin ng Pilot Zone na maging benchmark ng open educational development ng China, maging testing ground para sa reforms at innovations, at maging platform para sa China-foreign exchange at mutual learning. Nais din nitong suportahan ang repatriation ng international education consumption at itaguyod ang integration ng education, research, industry, at urban development.
Sa ngayon, nakapirma na ito ng agreements sa 22 renowned Chinese at international universities. May halos 5,000 faculty at students na kasali sa komunidad, at inaasahang aabot sa 10,000 ang student population pagdating ng autumn semester ng 2025.
