Nagpahaging si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na posibleng makasuhan ng economic sabotage ang dating may-ari ng Mile Long maging ang ABS-CBN dahil sa bilyun-bilyong Pisong utang sa Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP).
Sa oath taking ng mga opisyal ng Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission sa Malakanyang, hindi mapigilan ng Pangulo ang galit dahil sa nangyari sa bansa.
Bagaman isinauli ng Pamilya Prieto ang Mile Long Property sa gobyerno, hindi naman binayaran ang kanilang back rentals sa matagal na panahon kung saan nagpakasasa sa kita mula sa mga umupa sa property.
“Sabi ko yang Mile long na yan, the corruption really there that is an economic sabotage, one day I’ll just make up my mind to whether to file or not, cause until now yung back rentals na kinuha nila hindi naman nila isinaoli, what happen to the years that the property was in their possession and there’s no accounting for that, if you have a contract, fine, but if it is an expired contract and you continue collect in behalf of the owner in which is the government nothing has been returned until now, one day we’ll just have to have a reckoning here, not because you hate me, you tactically threw the kitchen sink, fine, pero kung sipain kita pu****, eh talagang pu***, sige kasi kaya kitang bastusin”.
Sa kaso naman aniya ng ABS-CBN, inihayag ni Pangulong Duterte na hindi binayaran ng Lopez Group of Companies ang bilyun-bilyong Pisong hiniram sa DBP hanggang sa pinatawad na lang.
“I’m including ABS-CBN , yung Lopez Group of Companies doon remember? May Lopez Group of Companies, there borrowed heavily form DBP, bakit nalugi ang DBP? Bakit dumive yan? Why was it privatized? Why, because they did not pay the billions they owed the government, you know it was condoned”.
