Veteran journalist Mer “Magsasakang Reporter” Layson’s daughter, Kyla Merynne Rose Layson, has successfully passed the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) Board Examination.
Kyla graduated Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines (UP) Los Baños with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition.
She is the eldest of three children of Mer and Mary Ann Layson, who is also a journalist.
Kyla was recognized as an A-1 child of Nueva Ecija during her daycare years.
She ranked Top 8 in Junior High School and graduated with honors in Grade 12 from Adamson University before being accepted at UPLB, where she graduated with Latin honors in July 2024.
In the PRC results released on Tuesday, November 12, Kyla was among the 843 examinees who passed the 2024 Nutritionist-Dietitian Licensure Examination held on Nov. 6-7,2024.
Now a Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian, Kyla has made her family immensely proud. (GP)
