Ayon kay DSWD Secretary Erwin Tulfo, ang e-payment ay alinsunod sa Executive Order No. 170 kaugnay sa paggamit ng digital payments para sa government disbursements at collections, Republic Act 11032 o ang Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Service Delivery Act of 2018, at ang Anti-Red Tape Authority Memorandum Circular no. 2020-06.
Maaaring magamit ng mga kliyente at partners ng ahensya ang e-payment link sa pag-transfer ng monetary donations at bayad para sa licensing, registration, at accreditation ng social welfare and development agencies, gayundin ang bayad para sa Social Welfare and Development Center for Asia and Pacific Dormitory, training fees, at iba pa.
Sa ngayon ay available ang online payment system sa field offices sa National Capital Region, MIMAROPA, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region at SOCCSKSARGEN bilang alternatibong collection system.
