Ricky Isla CEO of Airasia Philippines together with Rey Berja Chief Finance Officer Led the maiden flight using a fully loaded Airbus 320 aircraft that departed Manila 7:00 Thursday morning for the 1 hour flight .
Airasia entourage was met at the roxas airport by Local Goverment officials led by Governor Esteban Evan Contreras.
Ricky Isla CEO of Airasia expressed his gratitude to aviation authorities and LGU for the very warm welcome upon touchdown of the aircraft.
Isla believes that the maiden flight open the business and tourism opportunity.
Gov Contreras on the other hand expressed his thanks to airasia for spearheading the Tourism aspect and is expecting that rojas will be the gateway to other neighboring western visayan province.
Airasia also plan to expand their Cargo hub at Roxas to directly fly all the seafoods for export all around the world.
