Aminado si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na hindi matutuldukan ang problema sa iligal na droga kahit matapos ang kanyang termino.
Ito ang inihayag ng Pangulo sa gitna ng panibagong issue sa Bureau of Customs o BOC kaugnay sa 6.8 billion peso shabu shipment na nakalusot sa Manila International Container Port kamakailan.
Sa katunayan ayon kay Pangulong Duterte ay maaaring lumala pa ang problema sa iligal na droga.
“Because I said I’m tired and I think I cannot fulfill the promise of ending all this problem. Drugs will not end at the end of my term, it might just worsen.” Pahayag ni Duterte.
Samantala, binatikos naman Punong Ehekutibo ang kawalang-aksyon umano ng nakaraang administrasyon upang masugpo ang iligal na droga.
“Why is it that during the previous term, there were no billions and billions of drugs. Why was there was no arrest? Nobody was killed because nobody challenged the law. Why? Because nobody was interested to enforce the law, and the generals of the police were also running the show.” Ani Duterte.
